Art and photography
Photographs are made, pictures are taken. I have heard this in more than one form.
For me, one is made from the creative vision of the photographer as an artist and the other is taken from the world around us. And yet, this is so imprecise as the boundaries of either can never be defined and are often times vague and blurred at best. The vision of an artist can vastly differ from others and by taking what he sees, as he sees, and shares them, the photographs come into being and become art.
Then again art defines itself, as it is and always will be the expressive creation of the individual or the result of the collaboration of many.
